The apartment is part of a building, built in 1954, at Thessaloniki’s old waterfront, on Nikis Avenue. It has been completely renovated, both in its layout and its aesthetic, as well as the electromechanical installations. The kitchen area is indirectly illuminated from the living room through a single-hung window, which acts as a unifying or separating element between them, depending on the owners’ preference. Special attention was given to the preservation of the old wooden herringbone parquet.
